"DO I MISS YOU?"
You ask if I miss you,
I miss you every day.
From early in the morning,
till night when I start to pray.
The first thing in the morning,
there's nothing I can say.
Can't put my arms around you,
you are too far away.
I walk around my mountain,
then I get a little tear.
It could be a better place,
if only you were here.
Comes the middle of the day,
as I finish up my book.
But you're not here beside me,
no matter how hard I look.
Then I go out to eat,
at a place we both should go.
But I eat here all alone,
with people I don't know.
Now comes the hard part,
when it's time to go to bed.
I dream of you beside me,
but it's only in my head.
I hope I've answered your question,
I've thought it through and through.
The answer is Yes, my darling,
I'm really missing you.

If every time you crossed my mind,
a drop of rain should fall,
We could swim forever,
in the greatest ocean of them all.
If every time I dreamed your face,
A flower bloomed anew,
I could walk eternally,
in my garden next to you.
If every time I imagined your smile,
a star was placed in sight,
Darkness would never fall upon,
our love's endless light.
And if every time I needed you,
A bird sang its song,
Our symphony would keep on playing,
long after we are gone.
